The Chamonix ski resort is renowned for being a true winter wonderland. Situated on an exceptional natural site, nestled in the glaciers, Chamonix has a huge variation of well maintained slopes that are longing to be skied on. Some fantastic skiing is to be had by everyone within beautifuly preserved surroundings and intense local life. Chamonix is an internationally acclaimed resort with numerous activities on offer. Intermediate skiers will be able to experience the adrenalin of freeriding in the White Valley. This glacial off-piste is accessible thanks to the Aiguille du Midi cable car. Cross country skiers will be happy in the middle of the pine forest, with two possible itineraries : from Chamonix to hameau des Bois, or the Argentiere piste. From the centre of Chamonix, the Aiguille du Midi cable car expands over 3842m, where you can admire a breathtaking 360° panoramic view of the summits of the Mont-Blanc massif.
